Five-Course PINK Menu Tuesday, October 16th
WHAT: Once a month SAIA presents an interactive dining event featuring a five-course menu with selections inspired from Southeast Asia, perfectly paired with signature cocktails, specialty wines or sakes. For the month of October executive chef and sushi extraordinaire, Subin Chankesorn, creates a complete menu dressed in pink with items such as Crispy Rock Shrimp, Papaya Salad, and the Roll for the Cure with shrimp, mango, bell pepper & cream cheese wrapped in pink soy paper and topped with spicy crab salad & pink miso uzu sauce, plus much more. Each dish is paired with a taste from SAIA’s new sake collection. Learn how to best pair sake with sweet and savory Asian-inspired dishes, while enjoying SAIA’s stunning ocean views. In SAIA’s open-air kitchen, Chef Subin presents contemporary sushi rolls, innovative composed sashimi dishes and signature sharing plates. All sushi rolls and plates are served in a communal fashion, offering guests greater variety during their SAIA dining experience. Chef Subin’s signature composed sashimi dish, the Tamari Scallop, has been named one of the “Top 100 Dish” by New Times. Menu items pair perfectly with SAIA’s unique beverage service including seasonal cocktails with fresh ingredients, a Scorpion Bowl with servings for three to four guests, premium sakes and a slow-melting sculpted ice sphere for after‐dinner drinks.
