B Resort in the Walt Disney World® Resort Area Appoints MMGY Global as Agency of RecordShare
New York, NY (June 12, 2013) - B Resort located in the Walt Disney World®Resort has selected MMGY Global as its public relations agency of record. The rebranded hotel, currently the 394-room Royal Plaza, will debut as the B Resort this winter following an extensive renovation of the guest rooms, common areas, function space, pool area, the addition of a full service spa and more. The hotel will offer a family-friendly lifestyle experience within one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The resort is ideally situated within walking distance to the Downtown Disney® area with easy access to Walt Disney World® Resort and Orlando theme parks, as well as numerous shopping, dining, entertainment and nightlife venues. The property will be managed by Crescent Hotels & Resorts.
The B Resort is the first property to join the B Hotels & Resorts® portfolio in Central Florida. According to Chuck Mardiks, managing director of public relations for MMGY Global, the firm will develop and implement a strategic media outreach and rebranding campaign to launch this fully-renovated property, and gain consumer awareness throughout North America.
B Resort in the Walt Disney World® Resort will attract families and discerning adult travelers alike. Select child-friendly guest rooms will feature bunk beds and gaming consoles. All guest rooms and suites will offer a modern design, luxury amenities and high-tech features. With more than 20,000 square feet of indoor function space, in addition to a grand outdoor lawn, the hotel will be an ideal venue for meetings, receptions and weddings. The resort will also include a sophisticated, casual culinary concept, in addition to a café-style dining option. The property will feature a resort-style pool, and the first full-service spa of the B brand. As part of the company’s popular ‘B Signature Elements’, the resort will provide complimentary technology amenities including FreeB Wi-Fi, courtesy guest iPads, as well as a Monscierge®, a digital touchscreen concierge and destination guide.
